Terms of service
The agreement between you and Plumlet, a service operated by DHARAK Technologies, Punjab, India. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
What Plumlet does
You choose a template or paste a public reel, upload your own clips, and Plumlet selects moments and assembles them into a vertical video you can download.
Your account
You need an account to make a reel. You must be 13 or older, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your footage stays yours
You keep every right you had in the clips you upload and in the reels Plumlet makes from them. You may use them commercially. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store, process and render your footage so we can give you back a finished reel.
You must have the right to use what you upload, and the consent of recognisable people in it.
Reference reels
Pasting a link lets us measure that reel's structure — where the cuts fall, how long each shot holds. We do not copy its footage, audio or text into your reel, and we do not republish it. Only public posts work. Reading a reel's timing does not give you any rights in it.
Credits and payment
- You buy credits in packs. One credit is one finished export.
- Previews, shot replacements and re-renders of the same project are free.
- Credits do not expire. They are not transferable and have no cash value.
- One reel takes up to 25 clips or 10 minutes of source footage.
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase; your card details never reach our servers. Prices are shown in INR in India and USD elsewhere, and include tax where it applies.
- Reels are cut in the order they are submitted and delivered to your studio, usually within 24 hours. Changes to a delivered reel are included.
Refunds
Our refund and cancellation policy is short: a reel you have not yet submitted for cutting is refundable in full within 7 days of purchase; once a reel has been cut and delivered, the credit is used, but we will keep changing it until it is right. Write to [email protected].
What you may not upload
Footage you have no right to, sexual content involving minors, content that harasses or endangers someone, or anything illegal where you live. We may remove content and close accounts that break this, without a refund.
Availability
Plumlet is a young product. We will try to keep it running and your work intact, but we do not promise uptime, and we may change or withdraw features. Keep your own copies of anything you care about — renders are deleted after 30 days, and source clips after 7.
Liability
Plumlet is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
You can stop and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Unused credits are refundable on request if we close your account for any reason other than a breach.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
